Feeding Local People in Crisis

An army of volunteers at Clevedon District Foodbank is working tirelessly to prepare regular emergency food parcels and over 600 Christmas hampers in December for vulnerable people in crisis. Foodbanks across the UK continue to see significant rises in demand for basic food supplies with households, many with working parents, turning to local foodbanks as the cost of living crisis deepens. Over the last six months Clevedon Foodbank has fed around 1,500 people, a rise of 133%.

A leaflet with three-steps to find options and places to find help with essential contacts has been developed with the support local agencies across North Somerset giving you an accessible guide to free support.


'Desperately Seeking' Volunteers

The Curzon in Clevedon relies on the support of a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers to keep the community-run iconic cinema operating. Home Energy Day

Clevedon’s Climate Emergency Working Group (CEWG) is planning to host a Home Energy Day.

Come and find out about insulation, DIY fixes and practical ideas, advice on new technologies, grants and financial help.

Doors open at 9.30am for stakeholders to set up.
